Design

New plan, authentic character
The office building located on the Sloterweg, dating from 1940, will become totally transformed between now and 2024. During a large-scale renovation, only the concrete skeleton will remain standing. This will serve as the basis for rebuilding and renovating the entire building with the addition of an extra floor and a completely new façade. The underground car park will accommodate storerooms and parking spots for the residents.

Residential space surrounded by luxury
Sloterweg 22 will accommodate three-room and four-room apartments ranging in size from 60 m2 to 112 m2, offering the residents all possible services and facilities. The spacious apartments will offer residents the utmost comfort. The tall windows flood the interior with daylight and, in combination with the royally dimensioned outdoor areas, create a feeling of space and freedom. This feeling is strengthened by the amply dimensioned and fully equipped bathroom, the stand-alone toilet, and the kitchen fitted with a full range of built-in accessories. The tastefully designed interior makes the apartment a pleasure to live in, and the apartment feels like home from day one.

New façade and contemporary look and feel
The new façade is based on a surprising and original combination of materials and reveals a range of tints ranging from light to dark. The anthracite slate in the plinth, the vertical panelling of light pine on the upper stories, the concrete balconies, and the slender, grey aluminium profiles all contribute to the new look of the building. The balustrades of glass and the steel handrails create a transparent look, and the horizontal 50 cm grey strips accentuate the different layers of the building and complete the entire picture. The building will be given a completely new future and help upgrade the entire neighbourhood.

Ample parking facilities, lots of green spaces
The grounds behind the building and alongside the outer walls will be reorganised to make space for parking spaces and new greenery. The end result: an ideal mix of comfort and ease-of-use, including easy parking and an enjoyable green living environment.

Central location, optimum accessibility
The location is perfect. Thanks to the A4, A10 and A9 motorways, Haarlem and (all of) Amsterdam are easily and quickly accessible as is Schiphol Airport. In addition, the village offers excellent public transport connections, and the surrounding locations are also easily accessed by bicycle.

In the middle of life, space for relaxation
Looking for action or simply enjoying the silence: both are possible in this attractive environment. It goes without saying that there are ample opportunities to go shopping for one’s daily needs, but Badhoevedorp has much more to offer. The shopping centre, located only 5 minutes away on foot, offers a wide variety of shops as well as cafés, restaurants, and sports clubs. The cities of Amsterdam and Haarlem are located close by, as are the Johan Cruijff ArenA and the Ziggo Dome. The green area of the Amsterdamse Bos and the water of the Nieuwe Meer provide the ideal location to relax and recharge one’s batteries.

Sustainability

Focus on sustainability, future-proof
Sloterweg 22 is ready for the future. The building will be equipped with solar panels, and all the apartments will not depend on gas. After completion, all the apartments will comply with the requirements associated with energy label A. In addition, electrical charging stations will be installed on the parking lot.

Schedule

The interior demolition activities started at the end of 2021. The schedulefor the start of the renovation is not yet known.
