Caransa Groep is an Amsterdam-based family business with almost 70 years’ experience in property development. We specialise in the acquisition, (re)development, and rental of a wide range of projects ranging from rental units to hotels and from business premises to catering establishments.

But whether we’re building a high-tech data centre or renovating the Heineken Hoek on Leidseplein in Amsterdam: our motto is always ‘modernisation that matters’. After all, this is the only way to ensure our buildings make a valuable and sustainable contribution to their environment and the people who use the premises.

Nearly all of Caransa Groep’s construction projects are situated in Amsterdam, a city that is very close to our heart and where we have our roots. Keeping in mind the values of Maurits (Maup) Caransa, the person who founded our company and after whom it is named, our goal is to ensure that our projects make a significant contribution to the quality-of-life and the residential and working environment of our city.
