AMC, VUmc and treatment centre Centrum Oosterwal open the Huid Medisch Centrum in Amsterdam

On Wednesday 3 January 2018, the newly opened Huid Medisch Centrum (HMC) at Paasheuvelweg 28 in Amsterdam welcomed its first 20 patients.

HMC is a joint-venture between AMC, VUmc, and Centrum Oosterwal. The dermatological departments of both university hospitals have moved part of their care activities to HMC.

HMC is centrally located opposite AMC and readily accessible.

In mid-2016, the owner of the building, Caransa Groep B.V, started with a complete transformation of the premises. With the exception of the main construction, everything has been demolished and built anew.

A total of 1390 m² of office and laboratory space is still available on the second and third floor, which can be completely laid out and furnished to meet the individual wishes of the user.
