It was a day for celebration at the construction site of the Heineken Hoek!

Yesterday (31st of August), while enjoying a snack and some drinks together with all the hard-working builders and installers, we celebrated the realisation of the highest point on the building. The construction of the new Heineken Hoek started at the end of 2021. Now that the highest point has been reached, work is continuing aimed at reaching the following milestone, namely the start of finishing work and delivery.

In the new building on the Amsterdamse Leidseplein, the well-known catering entrepreneurs Won Yip and Martin Nijdam, together with Q Hospitality (the new name for EHM Group), opened hotel “The Diamond”. The building will also house an exclusive cocktail bar, a table d’hôte, and a steakhouse. The catering facilities are expected to open at the end of 2023, and the hotel at the beginning of March 2024.
